Terms and conditions
Changes to accommodation ordered and to prices are unlikely after the signing of an agreement, but can not be totally disregarded. Should a price increase arise or a special tax or fee for specific services be implemented, or a higher exchange rate occur, serious changes are in question. Such changes must be reported to the customer by the Hostel & Apartments QUEST to the customer without any unduly delay. If the price is increased by more then 10% from the original quoted price, the customer reserves the right to cancel the agreement without paying any cancellation fees. The customer must do so within 5 days at the latest from the day of the announcement of such changes, otherwise it shall be considered that the customer agrees with the new price.
The customer may cancel their agreement with the Hostel & Apartments Quest at any time. Such a cancellation is to be always in writing and by means of an e-mail. By cancelling the agreement from any reason, the customer accepts the cancellation conditions of the Hostel & Apartments Quest and is obliged to pay the Hostel for all intentional costs incurred on his behalf. The cancellation fee depends on the time period of the notification of such a cancellation prior to the date of the accommodation booking as follows:
- 30 or more days prior to the commencement of accommodation: 0% from the total price of the accommodation
- 29 up to 15 days prior to the commencement of accommodation: 20% from the total price of the accommodation
- 14 up to 10 days prior to the commencement of accommodation: 30% from the total price of the accommodation
- 9 up to 0 days prior to the commencement of accommodation: 100% from the total price of the accommodation
- In cases, where no deposit has been paid by the client (namely during individual reservations by means of on-line systems) will be, in the event of a “no-show” or in the event of a decrease in the number of persons accommodated, charged a cancellation fee in the amount equivalent to one night’s accommodation for each person that contributes to the decrease of the overall number of persons accommodated.
A cancellation of the accommodation may arise from the side of CA Quest or the “accommodator” only in the cases, where it is impossible to secure such accommodation as a result of events such as natural disasters or other unexpected circumstances, which were not possible to predict at the signing of the agreement. In the above mentioned instances, a new term of accommodation will be offered to the client.
If the client does not accept such a term of re-booking of their accommodation, or an adequate term is not available, a refund of the full amount of their payment shall be made without delay. The customer has no further right to request any further compensation.
The price of the accommodation does not include insurance. Customers may obtain travel insurance through CA Quest. A contractual relationship solely between the selected insurance company and the customer shall arise by the signing of such an insurance policy. Each customer will be able to become well acquainted with the terms and conditions of such an insurance policy, if they require such a service. Insurance may be organized according to the individual needs of the client. The contractual insurance company is the Allianz insurance company.
